PERSONNEL PLATFORM INSPECTION

COURSE CALENDAR

The following topics are covered in the Personnel Platform Inspection course:

  • Occupational Health and Safety Legislation
  • Design standards for Personnel Platforms
  • Suspension systems
  • Inspection criteria
  • Testing in accordance with CSA standards
  • Crane signals

The Personnel Platform Inspection course includes a theory portion followed by a closed book written exam. The students will then participate in a practical portion where on site personnel platforms shall be inspected by the class in order to demonstrate an understanding of the material presented. This program runs 4 hours in length.
